We are always keen to showcase the work of local young artists and advertise exhibitions on our website together with an artist's profile and images of your work if you wish.

We can also use our press and community contacts to advertise your exhibition and generate interest.

The Legacy XS Centre will become a showcase for art by local young artists. It is planned that we will have regular specialist exhibitions as well as longer term installations. Our "Artist in Residence" Alistair Birch will have some of his work on display early in 2005 and we would encourage other young artists wishing to display their work to get in touch with us. Later in the year we also hope to launch "The Legacy Prize" which will be a competition for young artists judged by a panel including professional artists. Divided into age categories submissions will be invited via local schools and colleges as well as by individuals. These will then be judged and prizes awarded at a special presentation ceremony.
